Cot MacDiarmid

Cot MacDiarmid is taller than most of her species — the Mulands of homeplanet Maridoileag. Past marriageable age but not yet old enough to make clan decisions, she defied expectations when a child shepherd with no access to the wider world was granted an education off-planet. Mentored through the diplomatic academy and into the military space academy, she graduated days before war was declared across space sectors. She rose from ensign to Captain during the war, then transferred to special forces as Lieutenant Colonel and Squad Leader to 12 SID pilots. Mulands proved ideal pilots for sentient spaceships — and Cot's mission is to spread across space sectors, mapping the unknown and gathering intelligence for Star Force HQ before reaching her new home port.
